    “What is the future of the European Union?”

    Several possible paths for the development of the European Union are from the lips of the European professional.

    Where does Europe goes after from Brexit? Jean Claude-Juncker, President of the European Commission, is trying to answer this question. He presented to the European Parliament a so-called White Paper, which outlines 5 options for Europe – from greater integration to just a single market and nothing more. According to experts, the main thing for Lithuania is that the integration of the European Union would not decrease, because in the case of several speeds Europe would not be useful to Lithuania.

    The speaker outlined all five possible scenarios. So which scenario is most likely, and which one is most favorable to Lithuania?

    Arnoldas Pranckevičius is an EU civil servant, the head of the European Commission Representation in Vilnius, the chairman of the Belgian Lithuanian community. The man from Panevezys, well known all over Europe. Arnold Pranckevičius advised President Valdas Adamkus on internal policy issues. For a long time, the European Parliament (EP) was responsible for diplomatic relations with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Later, he served as an administrator of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the EP. For seven years she has been working with MEPs: Jerzy Buzek and Martin Schulz, advising them on EU enlargement, security and defense, working with countries from East, Asia and the Balkans.
